Become a SCCRI Teaching Artist

The SCCRI Teaching Artist Program offers professional, independent RI-based artists the opportunity to offer a class/workshop in one of SCCRI spaces. Classes may vary in duration (ex. 3 day, 6 week or greater session) and in time (ex. 1+ hours, depending on nature of class/workshop). Space is based on availability and class/workshop concept.

SCCRI Teaching Artists are art professionals who can provide high quality instruction in a variety of performing, visual, and literary art disciplines as well as health and wellness (yoga, pilates, etc.) to an multi-generational population. TA’s work as stewards of our mission to connect, cultivate and engage the community through the arts, but are independent art and/or wellness practitioners in the field.
