Author of "The Myth of Silent Spring, " Chad Montrie, and professor at UMass Lowell, hosts pay-what-you-can event at Southside Cultural Center.  The themes of the talk will be about the origins of the U.S. environmental movement and the environmental justice movement, expanding the story to include earlier worker, immigrant, and people of color activism before and concurrent with the publication of "Silent Spring" by Rachel Carson.
