Langston Hughes's poems dating from the Harlem Renaissance through the 1960's continue to resonate with young people today. 

This event will feature students from AS220 Youth, Nowell Leadership Academy, Roger Williams and Gilbert Stuart Middle Schools. Come and see how the "people's poet" lives in the voices of Providence students and come help us celebrate Langston's 116th birthday.

The event is FREE and open to the public.
