About The Campaign

We need your help to Light Up The Arts at a very important time in our history as we continue to renovate the Trinity Theater at 393 Broad Street, in Providence, Rhode Island. Built in 1914, the building housed the original world-renowned Trinity Repertory Company from 1964-1973 and is now listed on the National Historic Register. This incredible theater complex has recently been renamed the Southside Cultural Center of Rhode Island (SCCRI).

At Southside Cultural Center of Rhode Island, (SCCRI) the supportive power of extended family in all its definitions is embraced; as is the belief that the spirit and energy of community and our participation in it, empowers and transforms. SCCRI nurtures the voices of artists of color and cultivates leaders who lift up our people. We need lights and sound equipment to keep our center as a cultural hub. Please help us Light Up The Arts and donate today!
